Robot619 by Mario Botta for Alias

This piece by Mario Botta was produced by Alias in the 1980s. The limited number of pieces produced makes this piece of furniture highly coveted by design enthusiasts and collectors alike.

The backbone of the piece is in metal, the rest in black MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard).

Part sculpture, part totem, the 619 robot is a tall, narrow piece of furniture with drawers that's perfect for small spaces. The top part can be unfolded, providing extra storage space and a small surface for the shelf.
