Karl Johan Rune Jansson(1918-2014) was a Swedish painter, graphic artist and author.
He joined Otte Sköld's painting school in Stockholm in 1941. He then continued his art studies at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm from 1942 to 1944. His debut exhibition was held at Lilla Paviljongen (later Hos Petra) in Stockholm in 1949.
He taught drawing at the architecture department of the Royal Institute of Technology from 1958. Between 1968 and 1975 he was a professor at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
